London to Paris bike ride in aid of Severn Hospice
Thank you all who supported Adams’ 300+ mile (500 km) London to Paris bike ride in aid of Severn Hospice. He raised just over £2,000, if anyone else wishes to donate there is still time!
Just pop along to his just giving page. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Adam-Carmi
Adam chose this charity for a few reasons, one because it was local, the hospice is part of health services offered to people living in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and Mid Wales. Secondly nearly everyone you know, knows someone that has been helped by Severn Hospice, since 1989, they have given free care to more than 27,000 patients and their loved ones and they now help more than 2,800 local people every year.
They are a completely independent charity, having to raise around two-thirds of their running costs. Their services are funded through a combination of donations from local people, fundraising activities, our lottery and retail departments, gifts in people’s wills and grants from the NHS.
