Providing increased durability and extra protection.
Lamination comes in three different textures: gloss, matt and soft touch and is generally used for protection, quality and enhancing, all of which improves the longevity of the printed item. The type of lamination you choose affects how your print feels, with each giving a different texture to the print: gloss is a high-shine finish, matt is a no-shine finish that gives a subtle smooth texture and soft touch is a luxurious velvety finish.
Apart from providing increased durability and extra protection, the advantages of lamination vary depending on the print product, gloss lamination is commonly used if your print needs to make a strong visual impact and are handled a lot.
Matt lamination tones down colour with a non-reflective finish and is ideal if the products are not handled excessively and soft touch is a more tactile version of matt with its smooth velvety texture, perfect for an upmarket look.
We know the importance of conveying your brand image professionally so we offer the three forms of lamination on almost all our products but it is especially ideal for business cards, brochures, presentation folders, notebooks and menus.
